WARNING!
NEVER FIT THE SEAT BELT IN ANY
WAY NOT MENTIONED IN THIS INSTRUCTION

TY OF YOUR CHILD!
WARNING!
The text and figures of these in-
structions refer to the installation of the child
car seat on the right back seat. Follow the
same steps to install the car seat in other posi-
tions. The slots for the car seat belts are clearly
marked on the child car seat with red colour
guides.
1. Place the child car seat on the chosen for-
ward-facing car seat (Fig. 19A).
WARNING!
Check that the car seat headrest
does not interfere with the child car seat: it
must not push it forward (Fig. 19B).
2. Pass the vehicle belt through the slot at the
rear (Fig. 20).
3. Fasten the vehicle belt to the buckle, ensur-
ing that the waist strap passes through the
waist belt slot Gr. 1 (P) (Fig. 21)
4. Pass the diagonal strap of the belt through
the diagonal belt slot Gr. 1 (N) (Fig. 22).
5. Pull the car safety belt firmly, ensuring that
the child car seat adheres correctly to the
car seat (Fig. 23).
6. Close the belt-lock clamp (O) (Fig. 24).
7. Check that the child car seat is fitted firmly
in place and adheres correctly to the vehicle
seat; check that the seat belt is tight. If the
child car seat is not tightly and safely fitted to
the car seat, repeat the installation procedure.
WARNING!
• Always check that the safety belt is distribut-
ed evenly and that it is not twisted.
• NEVER fit the car safety belt in any way not
illustrated in these instructions.
To seat your child in the car seat refer to chapter 6.
6. SEATING CHILDREN IN GROUP 1
When the child car seat is fitted correctly, fol-
low the instructions below to seat your child:
1. Press restraint harness adjustment button
H and, at the same time, hold and pull the
lower part of the child seat belt in your di-
rection as far as possible (Fig. 25).
2. Unfasten the child car seat harnesses by
pressing the buckle button (F) (Fig. 26) and
place them at the sides.
WARNING!
The booster cushion can be used
for children of up to around 11 kg.
3. Make sure your child is seated comforta-
bly in the child car seat, adjust the harness
straps around their body without pulling
them too tight, join the two harness straps
(Fig. 27) and click them into the buckle (Fig.
27A).
4. Use the headrest and harness adjustment
button (A) on the top of the backrest to
adjust the height of the child seat headrest
(Fig. 28) so that the harness straps come out
at shoulder height (Fig. 29).
12. To adjust the tension of the child seat har-
ness straps, adapting them to your child’s
body, carefully pull on the adjustment
strap (I) to achieve the desired level of
tightness (Fig. 30).
13. To remove your child from the seat, press
the buckle button (F) and release the har-
ness straps (Fig. 31).
7. CHANGE OF CHILD CAR SEAT SET-UP
FROM GROUP 1 (9-18 KG) TO GROUP
2/3 (15-36 KG)
To change the set-up of the child car seat from
Group 1 to Group 2-3, continue as follows:
1. Loosen the integrated belts as far as possi-
ble (Fig. 32).
2. Remove the booster cushion if present.
3. Remove the shoulder straps from their slots
(Fig. 33)
4. Unhook the child seat harness straps (E) from
the hook and position the hook in the ded-
icated slot compartment (Fig. 34 A – 34 B).
5. Pass the child seat harness straps (E) and
the shoulder straps (D) through the holes.
(Fig. 35)
6. Unfasten the buckle (F) (Fig. 36).
7. Remove the crotch strap protection (G) (Fig.
37) and store in a safe place for future use.
8. Lift the seat lining. Pull out the belt posi-
tioner (Fig. 38 A). Place the buckle (F) in the
dedicated compartment (Fig. 38 B).
9. Remove the fabric part, unhooking it from
the structure (Fig. 39).
10. Place the two parts of the buckle in the
dedicated slot (Fig. 40) and roll up the
straps placing them in the slot together
with the buckle (Fig. 41).
11. Cross over the shoulder straps and attach
to each other using the velcro (Fig. 42)
then position them in the Top Tether slot
(V) (Fig. 43).
WARNING!
Make sure there are no objects be-
tween the child car seat and the vehicle seat or
between the child car seat and car door.
5. Fasten the two ISOFIX connectors to the
corresponding ISOFIX hooks on the car seat
between the backrest and the seat (Fig. 9).
WARNING!
To make sure that the seat has
been fitted correctly, pull the child car seat to-
wards you and check that the two indicators
(S) are green (Fig. 10).
6. Push the child car seat firmly against the
backrest of the car seat (Fig. 11) to make
sure it is securely in place.
The child car seat is completely fitted only with
the installation of the Top Tether.
WARNING!
Refer to your car’s user manual to
identify where the Top Tether of the child car
seat is attached to the car. This fastening point
is denoted with a specific label (Fig. 12) and
can be found in the positions indicated by the
figures 12A - 12B - 12C - 12D - 12E.
WARNING!
Check that the Top Tether fasten-
er used is the one that has been specially des-
ignated. Do not confuse it with a ring used for
hanging bags (Fig. 13).
WARNING!
Pass the Top Tether between the
top of the car seat backrest and the headrest.
Never pass the Top Tether above the car head-
rest (Fig. 14).
7. Extend the Top Tether belt by pressing the
button. (Fig. 15)
8. Once you have identified the fastening
point, connect the Top Tether hook to it.
9. Adjust the length of the Top Tether belt by
forcefully pulling the belt until it is tight. The
indicator on the belt goes green (Z) when
the tether is suitably tight (Fig. 16).
10. Roll up any excess belt, tie it using the
velcro and put it back in the Top Tether
system storage compartment (V) (Fig.
17A - 17B).
To disassemble the child car seat, unhook the
Top Tether and the Isofix connectors by press-
ing the release buttons (T) (Fig. 18). To put
them back in completely push them inwards
at the same time.
To seat your child in the car seat refer to chap-
ter 6.
