I/O level/slots A - C
The housing (Fig. 3/1) is made of die-cast aluminium. The touchscreen
(Fig. 3/2) is built into the top.
The base and the 3 elements on the I/O level (slots A, B and C, Fig. 3/4) are
designed as individual die-cast aluminium elements that are screwed to the re-
mainder
of the housing. Only the manufacturer’s service staff are permitted to
open it. Opening the housing without authorisation voids the manufacturer’s
warranty. The service access (Fig. 3/3) is part of the die-cast housing.
All housing openings are sealed. Sealing caps are supplied to cover any un-
used M12 connections. Any unused slots on the I/O level are sealed with a
blanking plate. When protected in such a fashion the housing has protection
category IP65.
