2.6 Staff requirements
WARNING!
Risk of injury if staff are insufficiently qualified!
If unqualified staff work on the pump controller, hazards that can
cause serious injuries and significant damage to property occur.
Only allow qualified staff to perform any work.
Keep unqualified staff away from danger zones.
Qualifications
This operating manual specifies the following staff qualifications for the various
work areas:
Pump controller operator
The pump controller operator is familiar with the complete installation. The
pump controller operator knows the dangers posed by the complete installation
and can assess the consequences of their operating steps.
The owner ensures that the pump controller operator has the required qualifica-
tions and the required training.
Electrician
The electrician is able to perform work on electrical systems and to identify and
avoid possible dangers independently due to their technical training, knowl-
edge, experience and knowledge of the applicable standards and regulations.
The owner ensures that only staff with the required qualifications and the re-
quired training perform work on the complete installation.
Manufacturer’s assembly staff
The manufacturer’s assembly staff are able to assemble and commission the
pump controller and the complete installation and to identify and avoid possible
dangers independently due to their technical training, knowledge, experience
and knowledge of the applicable standards and regulations.
Only people who can be expected to perform their work reliably are permitted to
be employed as staff. People with impaired reactions, e.g. due to drugs, alcohol
or medication, are not permitted.
