5 Operating the pump controller

When transferring the device description and assigning the
modules, observe the manual for the machine controller.

1. If you are using a PROFINET field bus, proceed as follows:

Download the
“PROFINET GSD”
file from the
“
/home/bplogic”
directory on
the pump controller.

Install the
“PROFINET GSD”
file on the machine controller.
2. If you are using an EtherNet/IP field bus, proceed as follows:

Download the
“EnipAdapter.EDS”
file from the
“
/home/bplogic”
directory on
the pump controller.

Install the
“EnipAdapter.EDS”
file on the machine controller.
3. Select the pump controller in the machine controller's development environment
and connect it to the machine controller.
4. Configure the assignment of modules to slots 1 - 14 on the machine controller
as shown:
The assignment of modules to slots 1 - 14 on the machine
controller must correspond 1:1 to slots 1 - 14 on the pump
controller. This is the only way in which the pump controller can
exchange process values with the machine controller.
