FOR ALL INTRUDERS, THE LOCATION HAS BEEN ENTERED USING THE RANGE

AND BE ARING OR LATITUDE AND LONGIT UDE. I F THE RANGE AND BEARI NG IS

USED, THE TEST SET CALCULATES THE LATITUDE AND LONGIT UDE OF THE

INTRUDER. IF LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE IS USED, THE TEST SET CALCUL AT ES

THE RANGE AND BEARING FROM THE OWN AIRCRAFT.

PROCEDURE (CONT)

If adding Waypoints, refer to Section

4.1.22, How to Add Waypoints to an Intruder

When all the required information has been entered, press the

R e t u r n

Softkey to return to the

TCAS Scenario Screen.

To start the scenario, use the

S c e n a r i o

Softkey. Once the scenario has started, the

R u n T i m e

Field on the top of the Scenario Screen changes with the current scenario time.

If the scenario terminates, the

S c e n a r i o

Softkey returns to the OFF position. To terminate the

scenario before the total scenario time, change the

S c e n a r i o

Softkey to the OFF position.
