To organize your desktop working area optimally, you can use on every monitor of
the network matrix several screen modes, which enable to place different number
of video windows and windows of other types with various positions and dimensions
on the screen. You easily will be able to switch between these screen modes
during work with the system.

In most cases there is a necessity to translate image from several cameras
simultaneously using multi-monitor configuration. VideoNet system enables to
configure modes for every monitor of the
network matrix
. During that, parameters
of each of the created modes can be set up according to your requirements. For
more effective work you can assign unique numbers to each monitor , mode and
its windows , that allows you by only one click of the corresponding buttons on
your keyboard:
• to turn a necessary monitor on;
• to switch from one monitor mode to another;
• to
activate
a necessary video window;
• to select a necessary camera in
active
video window.
Handy interface of windows arrangement in the created mode allows you to reduce
the time that you spend on its setup.
VideoNet enables you to configure system spot-channel . Spot-channel allows to
unite several monitors into one group and to assign definite modes to this monitors.
The system will arrange cameras automatically to this monitors and their modes
on operator’s command or according to system schedule.
Also you can add
user’s events (commands) and configure sequences .
3.3.1. Screen
Types of windows
There are several window types in VideoNet system: video window, sound control
window, player window, Event Log window, mode panel, plans control window,
status panel, background window, popup window.
Video window
Video window is a window for working with video information, translated and
played back from cameras. From video window the following system functions
are available:
• emergency recording;
• emergency replay;
• synchronous audio accompaniment;
• Pan Tilt control;
• frames export;
• image printing and processing with digital filters;
• network translation quality setup.
Mode panel
Mode panel is a window, on which control buttons of main system functions are
