3. Now you should point up to the system a restriction on the video information
flow. As it is said in the problem statement, it is reguired to view video
information from camera on “Computer 1” with quality 3 and frame rate 3 fps,
and on “Computer 2” – with quality 10 and frame rate 25 fps. Thereby the
restriction on quality of video information, received on “Computer 1” must be
fulfilled, namely: it is not permitted that “Computer 1” receive video information
with quality more than 3 and frame rate more than 3 fps. There is no such a
restriction for “Computer 2”.
4. Select “Computer 1”, go to the
Routing
tab and select
Minimize traffic
check-
box under routing table of this computer.
5. As there is no restrictions for “Computer 2”, then you need not to select
Minimize traffic
check-box on “Computer 2”.
It is important to understand that in case of several requests from receivers for
receiving video with different quality, the system will send video to computer-
gate video with maximum quality of all requested:
It is necessary to configure routing parameters for the following organization of
information receiving:
A. Computers-receivers (“Computer 1” and “Computer 2”) receive video information
from “Computer 4” (computer-source) through “Computer 3” (computer-gate).
B. On “Computer 1” we want to view video from camera of “Computer 4” with
quality 3 and and frame rate 3 fps, and on “Computer 2” – with quality 10 and frame
rate 25 fps. Video from camera, connected to “Computer 4”, is translated via
network in real time (25 fps) with quality 10.
