2. If VideoNet session has been already opened under a user, then after entering
user name and password on system controller authorization of user in the system
will be performed. During that, system working in the current session of the user,
under which VideoNet logon was initially performed, will be continued
(independently of user name, which was entered from system controller).
For example, if there was system logon under «Administrator» (without using
system controller), and then user name (Login), for example, «650», and his
password were entered on system controller for authorization, then working in the
system will be continued under «Administrator» with corresponding access rights.
If system logon wasn’t performed and «Unit Error» inscription was displayed on
system controller, then possibly there is no connection with VideoNet or system
controller is incorrectly set up in the system.
For more information about setup of automatic authorization mode of system
controller refer to the device operating manual.
Attention! Don’t forget to configure access rights for the user, under which
automatic logon will be performed (configuring is performed by system
administrator; see 3.6.2.5 section, • Setup of access to Panasonic WV-CU650
system controller and authorization in the system ).
Manual authorization
After switching on system controller there will be «NO USER» inscription on it. If
manual authorization
mode of system controller is set up, then you should enter
user name
and
password
from system controller keyboard for authorization of the
user.
During that, it’s important to understand the following:
1. If
VideoNet session isn’t opened («LogOn» window is open), then after entering
user name and password authorization from system controller and system logon
under specified user will be performed.
Attention! For correct user authorization in the system in that case it’s
necessary that user, whose name you are to enter on system controller
keyboard, was added to
VideoNet
system configuration (requirement of
coincidence applies only to user name, passwords may differ). Don’t forget
also to configure access rights to system devices for this user (configuring is
performed by system administrator; see 3.6.2.5 section, • Setup of access to
Panasonic WV-CU650 system controller and authorization in the system ).
4.4.2.1. Starting working with system controller
To start working with system controller it is necessary to
log on
the system as
user, which has right to control the system from system controller . Panasonic
WV-CU650 system controller supports two modes of authorization –
automatic
and
manual
.
Automatic authorization
Setup of
automatic authorization mode
of system controller at most simplifies
user log-on and begining of working with the system. You can automatically log on
the system immediately after switching on system controller and launching
VideoNet without necessity to enter user name and password either on system
controller or in «LogOn» window.
