Attention! You may remove archive files only from the VideoNet player
window. It is prohibited to perform any actions with archive files using external
applications, except VideoNet . «Manual» removing, copying or moving archive
files by means of an operation system or outside programs can cause incorrect
archive operation.
4.1.1.9. Protecting and unprotecting file of video/audio record
If you want to protect video/audio record from removing by an operator or during
volume recycling cleanup
, you can protect this record. Protected records can’t be
removed, you can play back them and create clips from them. Afterwards you can
unprotect protected records.
To protect video/audio record:
1. Holding left mouse button, select one or several records , you want to protect ,
in the
player
records list.
2. Click button on the
player
toolbar
.
3. The records on the track will be marked by crossing (refer to 4.1.1 section).
To unprotect video/audio record:
1. Holding left mouse button, select the protected record(s) , you want to
unprotect , on the player records list.
2. Click button on the
player
toolbar
.
3. The record will be uprotected and it will be marked as common record on the
track (refer to 4.1.1 section).
Removing video/audio records is usually performed during volumes
recycling
cleanup
( volume parameters configuring is performed by administrator, refer to 3.5
chapter).
But also you can remove unnecessary video/audio records manually from the player ,
if you have corresponding rights (configuring
security policies
is performed by
administrator, see 3.6.2.3 section).
To remove video/audio record:
1. Holding left mouse button select one or several records, you want to remove,
in the
player
records list.
2. Click button on the
player
toolbar..
3. The record will be removed and specially marked on the track (refer to 4.1.1
section).
It is impossible to play removed records, create a clip from them or protect them.
