SKYROS Corporation VideoNet 8.4 User guide

VidoNet

system supports connecting the following system controllers:

Panasonic

WV-CU550

Panasonic WV-CU650

and

Lilin PIH-931D/932T

You can add

system controller

into the system configuration using the

Add device

wizard

(see

3.1.2.2

section).

During adding

system controller

cannot be detected by means of

automatic

device search.
If you want to add

Panasonic WV-CU550

system controller, you should select

Panasonic WV-CU550

model on the

Device model

page of the

Add device wizard

To add another models of system controller select

Universal system controller

3.1.2.12. System controller

Before adding the device into system configuration, it is necessary to connect

it to computer. The device should be connected through COM-port. Scheme of

connection is given in the

Installation manual

. Refer also to the device

manual.

After adding a

system controller

into system configuration it is necessary to

configure its properties (see the algorithm of

3.1.2.4

section). You can set up

system controller

properties on

General

Setup

and

Access

tabs. Configuring

devices parameters on the

General

tab is described in

3.1.2.4

section. Configuring

system controller

parameters on the

Access

tab is described in

3.6.2.5

section.

You can add no more than one

system controller

to the system configuration.

Automatically set

camera free after

inactivity time-out
Send commands

to schedule

Select this option, if you want the system to free Pan Tilt device in

case it is not controlled from system controller during the specified

time period.
To get Pan Tilt controlling back, it is necessary to select this device

on the system controller again (each Pan Tilt device has a unique

number in the system. You can specify this number in Pan Tilt

controller properties, see the section 3.1.2.4).

Attention!

It is strongly recommended to get acquainted with

Access to

system controller and auth

rization of it in the system

section (

3.6.2.5

section). This will help you to configure parameters of system controller

authorization in the system correctly.

Setup tab

On the
