SKYROS Corporation VideoNet 8.4 User guide
Controlling perimeter security system is performed from graphic plans window.
For correct system working it is necessary to configure and connect graphic plans
of guarded territory (refer to
7.1.2
section). As was already mentioned above,
perimeter security devices (segments and sensors) are displayed on plans as
follows:
Segments and sensors can be in one of the following states:
segment/sensor state
armed
disarmed
error
unknown
segment/sensor colour on a plan
green
violet
red
grey
Operator can be informed about
segment/sensor
state with colour indication on
graphic plan. When state change
perimeter device
changes its colour to the
colour, corresponding to new
segment/sensor
state. Correspondence of colours
and segment/sensor states is given in the table above.
During working with perimeter security system an operator can arm or disarm any
perimeter device, placed on the plan.
To arm segment/sensor:
1. Select needed
segment/sensor

2. In the opened menu select

state and change its colour to green.
To disarm segment/sensor:
1. Select necessary
segment/sensor
on the plan and right-click it.
2. In the opened menu select
