If necessary, you can look through and change properties of added archiving
function . General tab is used for configuring general archiving function parameters.
To change general archiving function parameters:
1. Open Archiving function tab on the Recording panel.
2. Select archiving function , parameters of which you want to change, in the list.
3. Go to the General tab.
4. Change necessary parameters.
5. Click
Apply button on the main toolbar.
On the General tab you can change the following parameters:
Parameters
Archiving function name
Computer
Source volumes
Record types
Target volume for archiving
Description
In this edit box you can change archiving function name.
In this drop-down list you can choose another computer,
to which source volumes, data from which you want to
archive, are connected.
In this list box you can choose other source volumes for
archiving.
In this list box you can specify record types you want to
archive.
In this drop-down list you can choose another target
volume to which this archiving function should copy
information.

In addition to general parameters you can set up the following parameters on the
Sources tab:
• add new sources into archiving function (see 3.5.2.19 section);
• remove sources from archiving function (see 3.5.2.20 section);
• add time intervals for archiving function sources (see 3.5.2.21 section);
• change parameters of an added time interval (see 3.5.2.22 section);
• remove time intervals for archiving function sources (see 3.5.2.23 section);
