user must specify a reason for shutting the system down. Shutting
down the system by operator’s command is described in

section.
Attention!

Use this policy to make inaccessible for viewing those system
elements, to which user has no access right.
For example, you have not assigned this policy to a user, who has no
right to translate video from camera and sound from microphone. In
this case the system will hide such camera from list of sources for
translation and such microphone – from list of sound sources.
If this policy is assigned to a user, he will see camera in the list.
However, when trying to translate video from camera user will see
“Access denied” message on the video window. Microphone also will
be in list of sound sources, but switching translation check-box will
be unavailable.
Configuring users rights of access to devices (cameras, microphones,
Pan Tilt controllers) is performed for every user separately (refer to
3.6.2.5
section).
Use this policy to assign users the right of viewing the list of records
in the Player. If user was not added to list of users for this policy,
system will hide
Player
button from the mode panel. The user won’t
be able to manage the Player. Working with the Player is described in
4.1.1
section.
Use this policy to assign users the right of archiving records in the
Player. Video/audio records archiving is described in
4.1.1.7
section.
Attention!
If you want a user to have records archiving right, you
should also add the user to
“View player records”
policy list.
Use this policy to assign users the right of creating clips in the Player.
Clips creating is described in
4.1.1.6
section.
Attention!
If you want a user to have clip creating right, you should
also add the user to
“View player records”
policy list.
Use this policy to assign users the right to protect records in the
Player. Records protecting is described in
4.1.1.9

should also add the user to
“View player records”
