Event Log window consists of

Events  in  the  list  can  be  of  several  types: 

alarm,  warning,

error, information, successes audit, refusals audit

.

In the 

events list 

there can be displayed either all events or

events for a certain period of time, or events only of certain

types

, or  events, containing certain text in description, that is

according to definite 

filter 

(in more detail working with filters

is described in the next section).
Each 

event 

in the list is defined by its unique 

number

, date and time of occurrence.

VideoNet

 system enables automatically to refresh the events list in the 

Event Log

.

The events, occurred in the system, are immediately displayed in the list, if they

don’t contradict conditions of the applied filter.

Event Log 

contains all events, which have occurred in the 

VideoNet 

system during

its functioning. If necessary, you can easily find and view events, occurred in the

system, for any period of time.

Each computer has the 

Event Log

 file. You can view any file on your computer (if

you have corresponding rights).

To start working with Event Log:

1. Switch to monitor mode, containing 

Event Log

 window. Configuring 

modes

and adding windows to them is performed by system administrator.

2. Event Log window opens. When first entry there will be all events, occurred

during the present day. You can apply 

filters

 to view only necessary information

about events.
