SKYROS Corporation VideoNet 8.4 User guide
When adding several sources to recording function video recording
parameters should be configured separately for every IP-camera. For CCTV
cameras video recording parameters should be configured as follows:
• simutlaneously for all cameras, which are connected to cards with Bt8xx or
Cx2388
х
chips and which use DVPack 1.42 codec;
• simutlaneously for all cameras, which are connected to cards with Bt8xx or
Cx2388
х
chips and which use DVPack 2 codec;
• simutlaneously for all cameras, which are connected to new generation
cards and which use DVPack 1.42 codec;
• simutlaneously for all cameras, which are connected to new generation
cards and which use DVPack 2 codec.

recording function
into
system configuration, it is necessary to go through
the
steps 1-10
of the previous algorithm.
you can specify audio recording
quality
.
If
icon appears near the recording function in the list, then this function is
set up incorrectly. Possibly, the reason is that:
• there is no volume, specified in recording function parameters, in your system
configuration (probably, this volume was removed after the recording function
configuring);
• there are no devices, specified as sources in recording function parameters
(probably, these sources were removed from the system configuration after
the recording function configuring).
To eliminate recording function setup error, it is necessary to specify volume
for this recording function and/or to specify the sources for recording.
