Video/audio capture card is a device with one or several digital capture devices

(chips) placed on it – with

Depending on card model amount of chips (from 1 to 8) and chips modification

can differ:

devices  to  it,  it  is  necessary  to  add  the  card  into  system  configuration  and  to

connect corresponding executive devices (cameras and microphones, which are

physically connected to video and audio inputs of the card) in the 

device tree

.
