Against the list of
Access rights
there is
Users and Groups
list, which contains
users, to whom every from these rights is assigned.
By default all rights are granted to the Administrators built-in group. Members
of this group can fully administer the system. The Administrators built-in
group can’t be removed from Users and Groups list of any access right .

Description
Use this policy to configure user access rights to viewing
configuration page.
VideoNet system has a separate policy
«View configuration
page»
for each of configuration pages. This enables to
allow user or group view only those configuration pages,
which are needed for his work with the system.
Attention! If you want to assign to a user or a group the
right of viewing, for example, Scheduler page, you will
need to add this user to “ View Configuration ” policy
users list and to “ View Scheduler configuration page ”
policy users list.
Use this policy to configure user access rights to editing
configuration page.
VideoNet system has a separate policy
«Edit configuration
page»
for each of configuration pages. This enables to
allow user or group edit only those configuration pages,
where it is necessary for his work with the system.
Attention! If you want to assign to a user or a group the
right of editing, for example, Scheduler page, you will need
to add this user to “ Edit Configuration ” policy users list
and to “ Edit Scheduler configuration page ” policy users
list.

3.6.2.3. Policy configuring
Every policy in the VideoNet system provides access rights, which can be granted
to users or groups . All access rights are listed on the Policy tab and ordered
alphabetically. By default, all permissions are granted to the Administrators group.
To configure policies, select Policy tab on the Access panel.
