Setup tab
On the
Setup
tab you can specify multimedia video capture device
index
and
name
. If there are more than one multimedia device, connected to your computer,
select necessary device from the list.
It’s not recommended to add devices with the same indexes into system
configuration, because that can lead to incorrect system operation.
In the
Inputs
field specify,
which of
video inputs
should be used. Set of
available
variants
depends on selected
video capture device.
In the
Format
field select
format
of video signal,
received at device input.
In case image from
multimedia video capture
device is inversed, select
Flip vertical
check-box in the
Video parameters
field.
• Multimedia audio capture device
You can add multimedia audio capture device
into the system configuration using
the
Add device wizard
(see
3.1.2.2
section). During adding multimedia audio
capture device can be detected by means of
automatic
device search. In the
device tree
multimedia audio capture device is displayed in
audio capture devices
section as a single device. For each device 1 audio input is displayed.
After adding a multimedia audio capture device it is necessary to configure its
properties (see the algorithm of
3.1.2.4
section). You can set up its properties on
the
General
and
Setup
tabs. Configuring device parameters on the
General
tab is
described in
3.1.2.4
section.
Setup tab
On the
Setup
tab you can assign a
unique number
to the device. By this
number the device will be identified in
the system in case there are several devices of that type.
VideoNet
system
allows to work with
video
capture
devices that support
RGB 24 format.
