3.2.3. Examples of configuring motion detection
Example 1 .
Creating and configuring parameters of motion detection zone
for a preset by camera-detector.
1. Add Camera 1 to system configuration on the Devices panel (the
steps 1-2
of
the algorithm from 3.1.2.6 section).
2. Add Preset 1 for Camera 1 on the Detection panel (the
steps 1-5
of the algorithm
from 3.2.2.2 section).
3. Select 3 motion detection zones in the camera-detector visibility scope. The
system will assign numbers from 1 to 3 to these zones.
4. Let’s start configuring of each selected detection zone. Select zone 1 by left-
clicking. Using controls, specify for zone 1 the following parameters: object
contrast - 21, maximum size -10, minimum size - 0, sensitivity level - 16, minimum
aspect ratio - 4/1 and maximum aspect ratio - 2/3.
Detection zone and aspect ratio border are shown schematically on the Picture
3.2.3-3. If aspect ratio of moving object more than the maximum one or less
than the minimum one, camera-detector won’t state the object motion.
For example, if an object has

aspect ratio, than motion of such an object
won’t be detected by camera-detector in the detection zone, shown on the
scheme (see Picture 3.2.3-4).
If an object has
2/3 aspect ratio, than motion of such an object will be detected
by camera-detector (see Picture 3.2.3-5).
