Make your selection, press

Save settings

Perform the following steps to test the position motor:

1. Go to

IN position

: This is the position where the rack clamp is open. The rack can be inserted manually

in the clamp.

2. Go to

MIX position

: This is the rotation position where the rack clamp is engaged to secure the rack for

mixing the sample tubes.

3. Go to

(1)TUBE position

: This is the first hole position in the grabber cover plate at the needle position.

4. Go to

RELEASE position

: This is the position for releasing the rack. The grabber will be opened and the

rack is transported to the Rack out position.

Go to position

: Service purpose only (This is to move from the home position to any distance in millimeters

from the home position).

The following steps are needed for checking the barcode.

Take a sample tube with barcode and a rack.

1. Go to the

IN position

2. Go to

Mix position

3. Go to

Tube position number

After pressing Read barcode

the barcode is shown above the button. If barcode label is not read correctly

see section Troubleshooting.

Switch

Check tube detection sensor

Use this switch to check the correct adjustment of the optical sensor that checks for the presence of sample

tubes in the rack. See “

Troubleshooting/ Tube sensor does not detect tubes

” for further instructions.

Switch

Always read barcode

Use this switch to read the barcode at every position in the rack. This tube is correctly logged in the rack,

even when the tube sensor is not detecting a tube. If the tube sensor is not detecting a tube and a barcode

could also not be read, the tube position is logged as empty.

See Service manual for further instructions

This section is used to make sure the needle sting position is centered in with the hole in the top bracket.

Perform the following steps for checking the needle sting location:

1. Go to

Tube position number

2. Press outer needle

DOWN

3. Check the needle position.
4. Continue to press the needle

DOWN

and visually check the needle goes through the hole in the top of

the bracket.

5. Press outer needle

If the needle is not passing the hole, see
