For this high-pressure compressor series new functions have been introduced and ex-
isting functions have been modified:

Suction pressure gradient supervision

•

Oil flow control on motor speed

•

Supervision of discharge temperature difference

•

Check slide calibration

•

Check VI slide position

•

The startup sequence has been modified

•

Main oil pressure and ECO has been modified

•

Internal pressure function has been modified

Balance piston function has been modified

Screw compressor SAB 273 S (HPSH 2709)
A new high-pressure screw compressor type has been added.

Recip. compressor HPC 112-HPC 116
Two new high-pressure reciprocating compressor types in the HPC series have been
added.

SAB 120-151, SAB 193-355, SAB 193 H-355 H, SAB 157 HR, SAB 273 S, SABflex
Max limit for

Oil separator temperature

(low alarm and low shutdown) have been

raised.

A start-up delay, internal timer, is added to disable the liquid slugging function in the
start-up phase.

The oil temperature high timer has been made changeable between 0 to 300 sec, de-
fault 300 sec.

For screw compressors with VSD and for high-pressure screw compressors, i.e. when

limiter. The passive state high limit has been reduced from 50% to 20%, and the pas-
sive state low limit has been reduced from 40% to 15%.

SAB 120-151
For compressor types with step-regulated Vi, the Vi-position error shutdown function,
used in SAB 193-355, has now been implemented. The Vi-position error function is-
sues an alarm if the capacity drops below 20% for more than 60 seconds, when the
compressor is in Vi mode (slides are pushed together).

SABcube with Danfoss drive
The SABcube compressor now also supports the Danfoss drive and the Modbus RTU
protocol.
