SYNC message (SYNC message)

In a CAN bus network, several CAN bus participants can be synchronised with each other through send­

ing of the SYNC message. To do this, one of the CAN-bus participants (usually the higher-order control­

ler (Host)) periodically sends out synchronisation messages. All connected CAN-bus participants re­

ceive these messages and use them for processing of the PDOs

The EMCA can evaluate the SYNC message but not send a SYNC message.
