A.4.1

Structure of EFPC in parameter file transmission

The EFPC extended parameter channel permits automated transmission of all configurable parameters

of an EMCA in the form of a parameter file.

As a result, the function of a parameter server can be implemented.

The procedure is in principle applicable for all controllers that support management of such files.

Modules with which transmission can be easily implemented are available for some selec

ted controllers at

www.festo.com/sp.

The following tables show the structure of the expanded parameter channel (EFPC) for transmitting the

parameter file.
