For custody transfer, the applicable approval determines the permitted measuring
range, the pulse value and the low flow cut off.
Operable flow range Over 1000 : 1
For custody transfer, the operable flow range is 100 : 1 to 250 : 1, depending on the
nominal diameter. Further details are specified by the applicable approval.
Input signal External measured values
To increase the accuracy of certain measured variables or to calculate the corrected volume
flow, the automation system can continuously write different measured values to the
measuring device:
• Medium temperature to increase the accuracy of the electrical conductivity (e.g. iTEMP)
• Reference density for calculating the corrected volume flow
Various pressure transmitters and temperature measuring devices can be ordered
from Hauser: see "Accessories" section →  206
It is recommended to read in external measured values to calculate the corrected volume
flow.
Current input
The measured values are written from the automation system to the measuring device via
the current input →  209.
Digital communication
The measured values are written from the automation system to the measuring device via
PROFIBUS DP.
