Keys and Doors 1-21
In the following cases, the system will
give out an alert:

When you unlock a car door
without using the access
function of the smart key.

When the car is powered up
without using the startup
function of the smart key.
Cancelling System
Stop alert in the following ways:

Use the wireless remote control
function to unlock car doors.

Unlock the car doors with micro
switch.
 Press the start-up button with
the key inside the car.
Starting the engine
Before starting the engine
1. Check surroundings of the car
before getting into it.
2. Adjust the seat position, seat
back angle, seat cushion height,
head protection device height
and steering wheel angle and
height.
3. Adjust the interior and external
rearview mirrors.
4. Lock all car doors.
5. Fasten the seat belt.
How to start the engine
(a) Before starting the engine
1. Activate parking brake to the full.
2. Turn off all unnecessary lights
and accessories.
3. Place the shift lever at the neutral
position.
4. Press the braking pedal
(automatic transmission) or the
clutch pedal (manual
transmission) until the car moves.
NOTICE

Starting procedure shall not
exceed 20 seconds to avoid
overheating of starter and
wiring system.

Do not operate the engine at
high speed in cold state.
 If it is difficult to start the
engine or the engine shuts
down frequently, please check
the engine immediately.
(b) Starting the engine
Starting function of button
For the car with smart keys, press the
―Start/Stop‖ button to start the engine.
Before starting the engine, the
instructions in ―(a) before starting the
engine
‖ should be observed.
Normal start-up procedures
Only when the smart key is inside the
car (held by someone) can engine be
started.
When pressing the brake or the clutch
pedal with force, the indicator on the
―Start/Stop‖ button will become green.
Press
the ―Start/Stop‖ button to start
the engine; press the
―Start/Stop‖
button in a slow but forceful way.
If the engine shuts off,
Restart the engine in accordance with
correct starting procedures.
