This light will not be on or
continue illuminating when the
START button

is at ―ON‖.



This light is turned on or blinks
during driving.

11. EPS System Warning Light (*If

equipped)

EPS uses motor to reduce the force
required to turn the steering wheel.

FRIENDLY TIPS

When turning the steering wheel,

you may hear the sound of the motor
operation (buzzing). It does not mean
any fault.
2. In the following two cases, steering
wheel warning light is not turned on,
but you can feel that it is hard to turn
the steering wheel. This phenomenon
is called non-fault mode.

When you frequently turn the

steering wheel for a long time:
If you frequently turn the steering
wheel for a long time, EPS efficiency
will be reduced to prevent the system
from overheating, thus making you
feel it is hard to operate the steering
wheel. If this case takes place,

Please avoid turning the steering
wheel too frequently or parking and
stopping the engine. The system will
return to normal within 10 minutes.

b. When the storage battery is

running out of power:
The minimum EPS working voltage is
9V. EPS will not provide
power-assisted steering when the
storage battery is seriously running
out of power and the voltage is less
than 9V. The storage battery shall be
checked at this moment and shall be
charged or replaced if necessary.
    3. EPS system will stop providing
power if the engine flames out.
Therefore, it is prohibited to flame out
the engine during driving. If the
engine flames out abnormally during
driving, please tightly hold the
steering wheel, park the vehicle
immediately and contact BYD
authorized service station.

WARNING

If the following cases take place,
Please immediately park the car in a
safe place and contact BYD

authorized service station. In this
case, it is hard to turn the steering
wheel and Please tightly hold the
steering wheel when driving.



EPS system warning light is
turned on.

12. Tire Pressure Fault Warning

Light (*If equipped)

This light will be turned on when the
START button

is at ―ON‖. If anti-lock

braking system operates normally,
this light will go out after a few
seconds. After that, this light will be
turned on once again if there is any
fault in the system.

When tire pressure fault warning light
is turned on or blinks, in the meantime,
information display on the right side
shows ―Please check the tire pressure
monitoring system‖ and tire pressure
display interface numerical value
shows ―---‖, it means that there is a
fault in the tire pressure system.

When tire pressure fault warning light
blinks quickly, and meanwhile, there
is one or more numerical values in the
tire pressure display interface of the
