Pay attention to the performance,
sound variation of the car, and the
intuitive signs indicating that the car
needs to be repaired. Some important
situations are as follows:
1. The engine pauses, operates
unstably and produces the sound of
―bang-bang‖;
2. The power is decreased obviously;
3. Abnormal sound from engine;
4. Water leaks under the car (it is
normal to see water drip from
operated air condition);
5. The exhausting sound changes
(this may indicates that the dangerous
carbon monoxide is leaked, then the
driver must drive with the windows
open and check the exhaust system);
6. Flat tire: excessive noise of tire
when turning a corner; uneven worn
of tire;
7. When driving on a flat and straight
road, the car turns to one side, and
there is abnormal noise caused by the
movement of suspension.
8. The brake doesn‘t work; the force
can‘t be applied to the brake pedal or
clutch pedal; the pedal is very close to
the floor; the car turns to one side
when braking.
Engine coolant temperature is
constantly high.
If the above situations happen, drive
the car to BYD authorized service
station as soon as possible, it might
need adjustment or repair.
