Driving Tips of BYD Suri2-3

Operations at gas station

Refueling the fuel tank

1. Please park the vehicle with its left
side facing the oil pump of the gas
station as the fuel filler cap lies in this
side.

2. Pull up the fuel filler opening handle
at the outside of the driver seat to
open the fuel filler.

As gasoline is easy to burn and
explode, the following precautions
shall be observed in the case of
refueling.

a)

Turn off the engine and
keep it away from heat,

sparks and open flame;

b)

It is recommended that the
fuel be refueled outdoors;

c)

Wipe up the spilled fuel
immediately.

3. Remove the fuel filler cap slowly.
There may be fizz due to the release
of pressure in the fuel tank. The fuel
filler cap is connected to the refueling
funnel via a tie chain to avoid loss
resulted from carelessness. IN the
case of refueling, the fuel filler cap
shall be put in the bracket on the fuel
filler door.

4. Stop refueling the fuel nozzle is cut
off automatically. The fuel tank shall
not be refueled too full and expansion

space of fuel shall be left for
temperature change.

5. Screw back the fuel filler cap until
more than two times of snap are
heard.

6. Push and press the fuel filler door
until it is locked.

FRIENDLY TIPS



Do not smoke during refueling.
Sparks or flames will lead to
fires.



When opening the fuel tank, the
cap should not be opened
suddenly. In hot weather, if the
fuel tank cap is opened
suddenly, pressurized fuel may
spurt out from the filling port and
cause injury.
