FRIENDLY TIPS
Do not exceed maximum rated
weight of towing hook when
towing a trailer, otherwise, it
may cause accidents and
severe personal injury.
Because braking distance may
increase, distance between
vehicles shall be increased
when towing trailer. For the
speed of 10km/h
(kilometer/hour), at least sum for
length of vehicle and length of
trailer shall be maintained
between vehicle and front
vehicle. Avoid sudden braking to
prevent car from being folded
and getting out of control due to
slipping.
Tire
Confirm proper tire pressure.
Tire pressure shall be maintained to
pressure intensity designated by
trailer manufacturer according to total
trailer weight.
Running-in procedure
It is recommended not to tow a trailer
with new car or cars provided with
new drive system components
(engine, transmission, differential,
wheel bearing, drive shaft, etc.) within
the initial 2000km (kilometers).
Maintenance
If towing trailer, the car load will
increased, therefore, it is necessary to
perform more frequent maintenance.
How to save fuel and extend
service life of vehicle?
It is easy and also simple to save fuel,
which is also conductive to prolong
service life of vehicle.
The followings are essentials for
saving fuel charge and repair cost:
●
Maintain correct tire pressure.
Insufficient tire pressure will cause tire
wear and waste of fuel.(see tire part in
Section 7).
●
Do not load unnecessary weight
on vehicle.
Excessive weight will increase engine
load, which might lead to more fuel
consumption.
●
Avoid warm-up idling for a long
time.
After engine runs steadily, drive the
car in an immediate and steady way.
Note that warm-up time for engine is
longer in winter.
●
Accelerate in a slow and steady
way.
Avoid fast starting. High gear shall be
used for driving as soon as possible.
●
Avoid engine idling for a long
time.
It is better to shut down the engine
and start it again later when driving in
a light traffic area and waiting for
others for a long time.
●
Avoid decelerating under high
load and overspeeding of engine
Select proper gear according to road
conditions.
●
Avoid continuous acceleration
