NOTICE

Start-up operation of engine
shall not exceed 5 seconds each
time as this may cause
overheating of starter and circuit
system.

Do not overdrive engine.

If it is difficult to start engine or
engine stall often occurs, check
the engine immediately.
Safety inspection before
driving
Before driving, it is better to perform a
safety inspection for the car. A few
minutes of inspection will contribute to
safe and pleasant driving. If you are
basically familiar with each part of
vehicle or sharp-sighted, you can
conduct inspection. Or, if you wish,
ask BYD authorized service station for
inspection at a lower price.
Inspection before starting the
engine
Vehicle exterior
Tire : check tire pressure with a tire
gauge, and carefully check whether
there is cut, damage or excessive
wear.
Wheel nut : confirm that no wheel nut
is loose or lost.
Leakage : check whether there is
leakage of fuel, engine oil, water or
other liquids after vehicle is stopped
for a while.(water drops produced by
air conditioner are normal)
Lighting : confirm that head light, stop
light, side light, direction indicator
lamp and other lighting all work.
Check light intensity of head light.
Vehicle interior
Spare tire, jack and wheel nut
wrench
: check tire pressure and
confirm that there is a jack and wheel
nut wrench in vehicle.
Seat belt : check whether seat belt
can be fastened tightly. Make sure
there is no wear or abrasion with the
seat belt.
Instrument and controllers : in
particular, make sure that
maintenance indicator, instrument
lighting and defroster work normally.
Brake : confirm that there is enough
free gap for pedal.
Engine compartment interior
FRIENDLY TIPS
If the inspection is conducted in a
closed garage, make sure that the
garage enjoys good ventilation.
Exhaust gas from engine is toxic.
