chain to avoid movement during your
driving. Do not pile up objects with
their heights exceeding the front seat

Prevention tips of vehicle fire
The following precautions shall be
observed to prevent vehicle fire in a
timely and effective way:
1. No inflammables and explosives
shall be stored in the vehicle
In hot summer, the temperature in the
vehicle that parked in the sun can
reach 60 or 70 degree or higher,
storing inflammables and explosives,
such as lighter, detergent remover,
perfume and the like in the vehicle
may easily cause fire or even
explosion.
2. Cigarette end shall be
completely extinguished after
smoking
Smoking is not only harmful to health
but may cause vehicle fire. Cigarette
end may cause vehicle fire if
incompletely extinguished.
3. Regular check shall be
performed in BYD authorized
service station
Regularly check whether the engine
compartment leaks and timely clean
oil dirt, oil stain and etc. on the engine
to avoid vehicle fire caused by
volatilization of oil dirt and oil stain in
hot temperature.
Regularly check complete vehicle
circuits, check whether connection,
insulation and permanent position of
electric connector and wiring harness
are normal; if any problem is found,
deal with it in time.
4. Vehicle circuits shall not be
remolded and it is suggested not
retrofit any electrical appliance
part.
Retrofitting electrical appliances (For
example, high-power audio, lighting
etc.) for other purposes would cause
excessive circuit load and wiring
harness would easily heat up to cause
fire. Nonstandard remolding of
electrical appliances and circuits
would cause abnormal heating of
contact resistance, which would
cause vehicle fire. It is prohibited to
use fuse or other metal wires with
their specifications exceeding rated
specifications of electrical appliances
to instead of safety fuse.
5. The parking position shall be
properly chosen
During vehicle parking, especially in
summer, be sure there are no
inflammables under the vehicle, for
example, hay, dead woods, leaves or
wheat-straws as temperature of the
three-way catalytic converter would
