Anti-Corrosion and Body Exterior Maintenance5-7 

Interior Cleaning 

FRIENDLY TIPS

 

 

Don‘t wash the floor of the car 
with water, or let water flow on 
the floor when washing interior 
and exterior of the car. 

 

Water may flow under the carpet 
(or floor mat), soak into 
components of audio system or 
other electrical appliance above, 
which may cause malfunction of 
components, and even lead to 
body corrosion. 

 

Carpet 

Wash the carpet with the qualified 
foam-type detergent. 

Clean the dust firstly with dust 
collector. There are several foam-type 
detergents as below for your option. 
Some kinds of detergents are 
installed in aerosol can, and some 
other kinds are powder or liquid, 
which can produce foam after being 
mixed with water. Wash the carpet by 
sponge or brush which is soaked with 
foam. Wipe it clockwise or 
anticlockwise. 

Don‘t use clean water - try to keep the 
carpet dry as possible. Read the 
instructions about detergent and 
confirm with it seriously. 

Seat belt 

The seat belt can be washed by 
neutral suds and water or warm 
water.

 When washing the seat belt, 

use soak sponge or soft rag, check 
the seat belt and safety buckle for 
excessive wear, damage or scoring. 

NOTICE

 

 

Don‘t use coloring agent or 
bleaching agent to wash the 
seat belt and safety buckle, as 
this will reduce the strength of 
them.

Don‘t use seat belt before it is 
dry. 

 
Doors and windows

 

Doors and windows can be washed 
with any detergent used in ordinary 
families. 

 

 

NOTICE

 

Don‘t scratch or damage the heating 
wire and joints when cleaning the 
inside of rear windows. 

 
The air-conditioner panel, audio 
system, instrument panel, control 
panel and switches are cleaned by 
wet and soft rag. 

Soak a clean and soft rag in 

water or warm water, and then slightly 
wipe the dust away with it. 

NOTICE

 

 

Don‘t use organic substance 
(solvent, kerosene, alcohol, 
gasoline, etc.) or acid and alkali 
solutions. These chemical 
materials will make the surface 
discolor, being polluted or fall 
off. 

 

Make sure the detergent or 
polishing agent include no 
above substances before using. 

 

Don‘t splash the new liquid 
detergent on the interior surface 
of the car when using it.The 
liquid may include the above
