Driving Tips of BYD Suri2-6

Luggage carrying

This vehicle is equipped with multiple
convenient storage compartments,
which enables you to carry your
luggage in a safe way.

Right storage box, door file bags and
seat back file bags are designed for
storing small items and light items,
while the trunk is used to store larger
and heavier objects.

Besides, trunk hatchway enables your
vehicle to carry long objects. However,
if too much luggage are carried or
luggage is improperly loaded,
maneuverability, stability and normal
running of the vehicle may be affected
and vehicle safety would be reduced.

Therefore, contents of the following
pages shall be read before carrying
luggage.

Load limit

While loading luggage, the total
weight of the vehicle body,
passengers and luggage shall not
exceed the maximum allowable
weight. Please refer to the description
concerning maximum allowable
weight in page 4.

WARNING



Vehicle maneuverability and
stability would be affected by
overload and improper load and
casualty may be caused from
vehicle crash.



Please observe the load limit
and other loading norms in this
manual.

Carrying objects at passenger
compartment:

1. Objects that may injure passengers
at vehicle crash shall be put away or
well fastened.

2. No object shall be put at rear deck
panel. Otherwise, your sight line
would be obstructed by these objects
and these objects would be thrown
into a mess at vehicle crash.

3. Objects that placed on floor at the
back of front seat shall not roll under
the seat, otherwise pedal
manipulation by the driver or normal
seat adjustment would be affected.
Goods shall not be piled up with its
height exceeding the front seat back.

4. The glove box shall be always
closed during

driving. Passenger‘s

knee may be injured at vehicle clash
or rush parking if the glove box cover
is opened.

1. Place the luggage on the trunk floor
in an uniform way with the heaviest
one at the bottom of the trunk and
