Emergency handling4-7 

Replacement of wheel 

Necessary tools and spare tire 

 

1. Take out necessary tools and 
spare tire. 

(1) Jack 

(2) Toolkit 

(3) Spare tire 

In case of emergency and repairing 
the vehicle by yourself, you shall be 
familiar with usages of jack and all 
tools and their storage position. 

 

Remove: rotate the joint in the 
direction of 1 until jack is loosened. 

Store: rotate the joint in the direction 
of 2 until jack is tightly fixed up so as 
to prevent jack from being dumped 
forward in case of crash or 
emergency braking. 

 

 

Take spare tire down, unscrew bolt 
and take the spare tire down. Then 
take spare tire out of vehicle.

 

When storing spare tire, put outer 
wheel down to its position. Then fix 
tire as per the inverse order of the 
above-mentioned procedure to 
prevent tire from flying forward in the 
event of crash or emergency braking.
