Cancelling the Cruise Control 
System 

The cruise control system can be 
cancelled with one of the following 
ways: 

1. Step the brake pedal downward. 

2. Press the CANCEL button on the 
steering wheel. 

3. Press the master button (ON/OFF) 
of cruise control system. 

4. Exit from the D position. 

 

 

Parking Aid System (if 
installed)

 

FRIENDLY TIPS

 

Please observe the following notices, 
or the car may not run safely, which 
may cause accidents. 

 

Do not attach any other objects 
within the operating range of 
sensors. 

 

This system can be used when 
the car speed is below 10 Km/h. 

 

NOTICE

 

Do not wash the sensors with 

water or steam, or it will cause sensor 
malfunction. 

 
A BYD Car parking assistance sensor 
is installed in the front and rear parts 
of car respectively to detect the 
distance between the car and 
obstacles, and inform the driver of the 
distance by indicator display, touch 
screen display and buzzer warning.

Parking Aid System is designed 
to assist the driver to stop cars, 
and it can‘t replace your 
personal judgment. Make sure 
to operate the car based on your 
observation. 

 

Do not place accessories or 
other objects where the sensor 
detects obstacles, this will 
influence the normal system 
operation. 

 

In some cases, the system can‘t 
work properly; the system can‘t 
detect some objects when car is 
approaching. Thus, you should 
always observe the 
surroundings of car, do not rely
