The smart key approaches the
car door handle.
 When other people are using the
wireless remote control function
in a nearby car.
 When the battery runs out of
power. Please
refer to ―Replace
the electronic smart key battery‖
section when replacing battery.

When the smart key is near
high-pressure equipment or
equipment generating noise.

The smart key is carried together
with the smart entry and starting
system key of other cars or other
devices emitting radio waves.
 Even within the activation zone,
the smart key might not work
normally due to the position of
the smart key or shape of the car
body.
If you cannot enter the car due to
the smart entry system which fails
to work normally, use the
mechanical key attached to the
electronic smart key to lock and
unlock the
driver’s door, or use the
wireless remote control function
for all door lock and unlock.
When the smart key of another car is
close to the car‘s smart key, the time
taken to unlock the car doors might be
longer than usual, which is not a
malfunction.
The external rearview mirror foot light
and the rear interior light will be turned
on or off automatically depending on
the presence or not of the smart key,
unlock/lock status of doors,
opening/closing of doors and the
power position.
If the battery of the smart key runs
out,
If the indicator of the electronic
smart key is not blinking, and the
start function fails to start the
engine, it indicates that the battery
may run out and shall be replaced
as soon as possible.(Please refer
to “Battery Replacement for
Electronic Smart Key” in this
section.)
You can start the engine according to
the following steps:
1. Step on the brake pedal or press
the ―Start/Stop‖ button and the
warning light of the smart entry
and smart start system will be
turned on, and the buzzer inside
the car will beep once.
2. Move the electronic smart key to
the ―Start /Stop‖ button within 30
seconds after the buzzer beeps,
and then the buzzer will sound
again to alert you of re-starting
the engine.
3. Start the engine within 5
seconds after the buzzer beeps.
