SHOCK HAZARD
The potential for electric shock exists with electrical equipment. Use cau-
tion when troubleshooting any electrical device.
1. The building supply breaker is in the ON position.

Turn the building supply breaker to the ON position. If this
solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 2.
2. The Area Alarm’s power supply switch to the ON position.

Turn the power supply switch to the ON position (see “Area
Alarm Power-Up” on page 1–112). If this solves the problem,
go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 3.
3. The power supply’s fuse is intact (fuse not blown).

Replace the power supply’s fuse (refer to procedure 4.15 on
page 4-40). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on
page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 4.
4. The two orange leads coming from the power supply to the breakout board
are connected.

Connect the two orange leads from the power supply to the
breakout board (refer to procedure 4.7 on page 4-22). If this
solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 5.
