1. Error code A 01 displays on an Area Alarm Module.

2. The shutoff valve is open.

Open the shutoff valve. If this solves the problem, go to “Final
Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 3.
3. Transducer is connected to the pipeline.

Connect the transducer to the pipeline (refer to procedure 4.20
on page 4-50). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions”
on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 4.
4. Transducer has a slow steady flash on its heartbeat LED.

Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.23 on page 4-62). If
