Gas or Vacuum Lost

3. Replace the wiring between the Area Alarm Module and the transducer. If
this solves the problem go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, call
BeaconMedæs Technical Support.
2.18 Gas or Vacuum Lost
1. A type of gas or vacuum and the word Lost displays on the Master Alarm.

2. The Area Alarm, at the location showing on the Master Alarm’s display, is
powered on.

Turn the power to the Area Alarm on (see “Area Alarm Power-
Up” on page 1–112). If this solves the problem, go to “Final
Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 4.
SHOCK HAZARD
The potential for electric shock exists with electrical equipment. Use cau-
tion when troubleshooting any electrical device.
3. Use caution while checking voltage inside the Area Alarm.
4. The voltage across the two orange lead connections on the breakout board is
approximately 20 V AC. Refer to the wiring diagram FO 3-4 at the rear of
this manual.

Replace the transformer (refer to procedure 4.5 on page 4-16). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 5.
5. Check the LEDs on the Network Communications Board (see “Area Alarm
Power-Up” on page 1–112). The LEDs that indicate whether the alarm is
communicating are operating correctly.
