Optional components
Optional components are available for both the system controller
and the printer.
Optional system controller components
The optional components for the system controller consist of:

Peripheral cabinet
•
Open-reel tape drive
•
1/2 inch cartridge tape drive
•
Floppy disk drive.
Peripheral cabinet
The peripheral cabinet houses the open-reel and 1/2 inch tape
drives.

Open-reel tape drive
The open-reel tape drive has the following features:
•
1/2 inch/13 mm streamer with a horizontal tape path.
•
Self-loading tape system.
•
Tape is visible through a window in the front of the tape
drive so you can verify the presence of the tape and tape
motion.
•
The tape cover can be raised for routine cleaning.
•
It has a control panel including an eight character
alphanumeric display for messages and error information.
