Open-reel tape drive procedures

The following sections contain instructions for handling the
open-reel tape drive.

Power on the open-reel tape drive

1. Press the Power switch to the ON position by pressing down

on the side marked 1.

The loading door opens and you can load an open-reel tape.

Note: If “OK” appears on the message display, but the door
is closed, press the Reset button to open it. If this fails, tap
