Sometimes the printer control console messages direct you
to discard the last sheet delivered to the stack following a
jam in area 18. Check for this message when clearing an area
18 paper jam.
•
If your LPS has frequent jams in this area, you may need to
clean the Q1107A sensor. Refer to the “Cleaning the sensors
and the reflecting surfaces” section of chapter 11.
