value of the process variable (0%) in engineering
units.
Unit (Output): The engineering unit that the output value is
reported in.
Decimal Point: Upper value (Output Signal Range): Upper range
value of the process variable (100%) in engineering
units.
LIN_TYPE
Flow Type: Set the type of set point characterization curve. The
following options are available:
-
Linear
: the analog output setpoint from the analog output is
set directly to the servo PID setpoint;
-
Equal Percentage
: the analog output setpoint is used as a
parameter for the equal percentage function to set the servo
PID setpoint;
-
Quick Opening
: the analog output setpoint is used as a
parameter for the quick opening function to set the servo PID
setpoint;
-
User defined (table):
the analog output setpoint is
characterized using a table defined by the user to set the
servo PID setpoint. (
See the Characterization Curve section to
get details how to enter this table).
Channel
Channel: The number of the hardware channel that is
connected to this function block. It defines the
associated transducer block.
PV_FTIME
Filter Time Const: This parameter contains the time constant for the
rise time of the output up to a value of 63.21%
resulting from a jump at the filter input. The
engineering unit of this parameter is always
seconds.
Fail Safe
Fail Safe Mode: Defines reaction of device if communication fault is
still detected after fail safe time.
Fail Safe Default Value: Default value for the setpoint input if communication
fault is detected.
ALARM_HYS
Limit Hysteresis: Hysteresis expressed in the engineering units of the
output value scale. An alarm occurs when a value
exceeds an upper limit. The alarm’s status remains
true until the value drops below the limit minus the
