if the block can achieve the requested target mode. The automatic
modes used in this profile are Auto and RCAS. The manual modes
are LO and Man. In O/S mode, the normal algorithm is no longer
executed.
Actual Mode: Indicates the current mode of operation the block is able to achieve.
Permitted
Mode:
Defines the modes which are allowed in this instance of the block.
Normal Mode: The mode which the block uses during normal operation conditions.
Output Value: Process variable (including transfer function and damping settings).
In MAN mode, the output value may be specified by an operator.
Status (Output): Current status of the Output.
9.8 Characterization Curve
Located under Additional Functions, this directory contains options to configure and
visualize the characterization curve.
To create a new characterization curve, use the following procedure:
-Write in the “Number of Coordinates” field the number of coordinates that the table will
have.
-After that, the DTM will show a group of X and Y fields for each coordinate.
-After setting every coordinate, press the button labeled “Write Table” in the left side of
the graph area. The process of writing all coordinates in the device will take a few
seconds to finish.
-Below the graph, in the “Status (Characterization)” field, the DTM will inform if the write
has been successful or if there was any problems.
For more information about each parameter of this directory, see the chart below:
