equipment-related information (e.g. faults, alarms…)
to the batch.
Batch Unit: Identifies the active Control Recipe Unit Procedure
or the related Unit (e.g. reactor, centrifuge, drier).
Batch Operation: Identifies the active Control Recipe Operation.
Batch Phase: Identifies the active Control Recipe Phase.
9.9.3.2 Function Block Parameters
SP
Setpoint: Defines the position of the regulation unit within the travel
span (between the OPEN and CLOSED position) in units of
Input Value.
Status (Setpoint): Status of the actual position of the regulating unit within the
travel span (between the OPEN and CLOSED position) in
units of Input Value. Contains the following states of quality:
Good, Uncertain and Bad.
PV_SCALE
Upper Value: Defines the operational upper range value of the input value
(100%) in engineering units.
Lower Value: Defines the operational lower range value of the input value
(0%) in engineering units.
Unit (Input): Engineering units of the input value.
Decimal Point: The number of digits to the right of the decimal point.
READBACK
Readback Value: The actual position of the regulating unit within the travel
span (between OPEN and CLOSED position) in units of Input
Value.
Status (Readback
Value):
Contains the following states of quality: Good, Uncertain and
Bad.
RCAS_IN
RCAS IN: Target setpoint provided by a supervisory host to the analog
control or output block (RCAS mode).
Status (RCAS IN): Contains the flowing states of quality: Good (Cascade),
Uncertain and Bad.
