Block
BLOCK_OBJECT
Reserved Profile Parameter: This parameter is reserved and contains no relevant
data.
Block Objects: Type of related block.
Parent Class: Defines the transducer block parent class.
Class: Defines the transducer block class.
DD Reference: Consists of Manufacturer Code, the Device Type, the
Device Revision and the Revision of the Device
Description.
DD Revision: Revision of the Device Description.
Profile: PROFIBUS profile class. ICoT has PROFIBUS PA,
Compact Class B.
Profile Revision: 3.02 – ICoT is compatible with profile 3.02
Execution Time: Parameter is reserved for future use and contains no
relevant data.
Number of Parameters: Number of used indices (parameters of a block
including the non-implemented optional parameters.
Index of VIEW 1: The index of the View 1.
Number of View Lists: Number of view lists defined in a block.
General
Static Revision No.: The revision level of the static data associated with
the block. The Static Revision No. is changed by the
device each time data are written to the static
parameter.
TAG: Physical device tag.
Strategy: The strategy field can be used to help group blocks.
Alert Key: The alert parameter (0 – 255) has a user-assigned
value which may be used in sorting alarms or events
generated by a block.
Block Modes
Target Mode: Sets the desired mode for the block. The input
parameters of the block in conjunction with the state of
the block are used to determine if the block can
achieve the requested target mode. The automatic
modes used in this profile are Auto and RCAS. The
manual modes are LO and Man. In O/S mode, the
normal algorithm is no longer executed.
Actual Mode: Indicates the current mode of operation the block is
able to achieve.
Permitted Mode: Defines the modes which are allowed in this instance
of the block.
