Using a Remote Control Device Interface
Audio Decoder Channel A (ADA) and Channel B (ADB)
Commands
The TDR7 outputs two separate audio channels
which are referred to as audio channel A and audio channel B. The
ADA and ADB commands control the audio decoder and
decompression features of the TDR7. Entering the query command
ADA
or
ADB
displays the current configuration of the audio decoder.

Audio volume control
#
Volume may be set to a value between 0 and 100
% of the
incoming audio level, which means that the volume control
cannot increase or amplify the incoming audio level. The
DVB default is 100.
DELAY (20)
Compressed audio stream buffer delay
#
Allows you to set the delay between the time the audio data
is received and the time the audio data is sent to the audio
output port to compensate for the clocking of the audio
encoder. Enter a value between –1000 and +1000. To align
the audio with the video, enter 0 for no delay . The DVB
default is 0.
NOTE: Auto–Sensing Audio Decoder
The
TDR7
audio decoder is completely auto–sensing, which
means that it automatically changes the audio parameters to
match those of the input signal. The
TDR7
automatically sets
the volume to 100
