Configuring the
TDR7
This chapter details procedures required to change the configuration
of the TDR7 using either the control front panel or a remote control
device. Additionally, the DVB default settings for each of the TDR7
parameters are listed.
DVB Default Settings
Your TDR7 is configured to the DVB default settings before it is
shipped to you. The DVB configuration contains a standard set of
operating instructions that allows you to quickly and easily establish
communications with your TDR7.
The DVB defaults allow both audio channels, the composite and
digital video channels, and user data channel A to be decoded and
decompressed at the DVB default rates. When set to DVB defaults,
user data channel B is disabled.
Unless your site–specific operations require you to change the TDR7
parameters, you can begin operations using the DVB default settings.
If you need to change the TDR7 configuration from the DVB default
settings, compare your requirements to the DVB default settings, then
change only those parameters that are necessary to meet your
operational requirements.
The DVB defaults are shown in the tables below.
