Configuring the TDR7 with a Remote Control Device
Enabling Teletext Data
If you have a TTO–6000 module installed in your TDR7, you must
enable the teletext if you want the teletext data included in the video
output stream. You enable the teletext by setting the teletext mode to
ON
.
Commands required to enable teletext data along with the commands
for viewing the teletext lines and PID detected in the selected service
are shown below.
To enable teletext data:
At the RCD prompt, type VBI_MODE_ON , then press the
Enter
key.
To view teletext lines detected in the selected service:
At the RCD prompt, type
VBI_LINE
, then press the
Enter
key.
To view the teletext PID available in the selected service:
At the RCD prompt, type VBI_PID , then press the
Enter
key.
To verify the TTO–6000 module configuration:
At the RCD prompt, type VBI , then press the
Enter
key. The RCD
displays the TTO–6000 option module configuration.
NOTE: Teletext Mode Default
The default for the teletext mode is
OFF
, which means that
teletext data will not be included in the video stream output
unless you change the teletext mode to
ON
.
