Installing the TDR7
Cabling the Teletext Output Port
If your TDR7 has the TTO–6000 option module installed, the back
panel of the TDR7 has an additional BNC port labeled
J61.
In the PAL video mode, the TDR7 outputs the composite video stream
at both the
J13
and the
J61
composite video ports. If you enable the
teletext, the composite video stream available at the
J61
port contains
the embedded teletext. Composite video with embedded teletext data
cannot be output to the
J13
port.
If you intend to process composite video with embedded teletext data,
you should connect your video equipment to the
J61
composite video
port; however, if you change video operating modes from PAL to
NTSC, you must move the cable connecting the TDR7 to your video
output equipment from the
J61
port to the
J13
port. The TDR7 cannot
output NTSC video to the
J61
port.
